Kalani Oceanside Retreat lies deep in a pristine, secluded, tropical setting on The Big Island. Dramatic dawn-facing lava cliffs overlooking the Pacific and the black sands of Kehena Beach are a short walk away. Kalani graces 113 coastal acres of exotic botanical forest within Hawaii's largest conservation area. Twenty acres are dedicated to landscaped lawns and retreat/conference facilities, dotted with coconut palms, papaya, banana, avocado, macadamia, and flowering plants.

Kalani's amenities include a spring-fed Olympic-sized swimming pool, two jacuzzis and a sauna. Staff can arrange for nature walks, yoga, massage, and classes in lei-making, hula dance, and Hawaiian language and mythology.
